Say hello to sweet Mandy! Mandy is the best indoor dog you could ask for! This fully trained, red and white 8-year-old Mini Aussie withstands baths and up to 14 hours without needing to go outside! A cuddle bug with with a cute Corgi face, Mandy will sleep next to you all day, loving the occasional belly rub. She also makes an excellent hiking buddy - she has short bursts of energy with an 'off button' once she gets back indoors. Though she's around 35 lbs, she needs a strong handler or a fenced-in yard since she can be leash reactive around strangers, small animals, and other dogs.

Mandy dreams of a home where she is an only pet, has a woman as her primary owner. Mandy can be vocal but is easy to distract/redirect. Surviving Lyme disease has left her unpredictably aggressive towards other dogs, so she must not be near other dogs at any time. Mandy is an easy keeper who has been making great strides on relaxing around strangers at her foster home in Ithaca, NY. Mandy never wants you to stop petting her - won't you start today?
