My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ricky is a very large, gorgeous, 3 month old German shepherd mix. He was part of a litter born on a farm, so he lived outdoors until the rescue got him. So far he's been quiet, shy, and a bit skittish, but very sweet, playful, and cuddly. Really likes to be with people once he picks you as his person.

Potty, leash, & crate training has just barely been started, right now he's good with everyone and everything as he's still quite young. Introducing him to kids, cats, other dogs will be all about socialization and training. New things still scare him as he's still getting used to being away from mom and siblings. So a new family will need to be very patient at first to give him a chance to settle in, adjust, and find his confidence.

Ricky will need a yard with secure, 6 ft or better fencing. He'll also need a family that's home more often than not as shepherds don't like a lot of alone time. 😊
