Foster Needed‼️. Hello Humans my name is FIG and I am ready for a HOME!
I was recently rescued from a high kill shelter and I would have most likely died in that awful place.
You see I have Megaesophagus (with megaesophagus, dogs are unable to swallow food normally because their esophagus lacks the muscular tone and motility needed to move food and water) and it's probably why the not so nice humans dumped me there in the first place-UGH!
I am LUCKY because this nice rescue here got me out and noticed right away that I wasn't keeping my food down.
They were so WORRIED about me and took me to the hospital and I was there a while until the doctors finally figured out was wrong with me, it was a super SCARY time for me but now that I've been diagnosed we know how to treat it so I can have maybe a somewhat normal life-YAY!
I have to be on a special diet and take some meds but that doesn't stop me from being a happy go lucky pup I just have special needs, don't we all tho?
I am a 5 month old GORGEOUS male Husky/Shepherd mix and I'm great with other dogs and am very loving, affectionate and SMART!
I already know some commands-how you like dem apples!
I have beautiful eyes that will melt your soul-I promise!
