Caramel is one of 5 beagle mix pups available. The others 4 are Tootsie, Toffee, Licorice and Crackerjack. They are posted separately but an application for one applies to a choice based on availability of all. We are accepting applications. There are three girls and two boys (one boy adopted) available near Knoxville TN
Butterscotch’s 6. Butterscotch appears to be a lemon and white Beagle/dachshund mix? Dads are unknown. She was picked up as a stray in a rural county and had her pups overnight at the shelter. She was a scared and protective mom that has come a long way with the fantastic Morgan family fostering her and her pups. Hats off to Alyssa, mom Rebecca and all the family! Mom is a thin ~25 lbs and the pups will definitely be larger. We anticipate mediums sized 30-40 lbs? 4 of the six vary in stubbiness like mom. They are friendly, inquisitive, all puppy at 8 weeks. We believe we see a bit of boxer and a bit of hound in them besides momma’s beagle dachshund/possible basset (longer and low) mix?
These pups would be a good fit for a family with dog experienced kids, 5 or older preferred or significant pet experience, a companion to another dog or a doting single dog home with proper training or attention. They love playing outside so a fenced yard preferred, due to breed and potential size. All puppies are microchipped, UTD on all vaccines/worm meds/flea/tick/hw to age. Adoption ready. Adopter will finish puppy vaccine series, purchase flea/tick/hw medications for life and do yearly vaccinations according to adoption contract.

Here is some personality info on these sweet beagle x babies.
1. Caramel is very sweet and loving. Caramel... She likes to be the leader from time to time...Crawl on top of her siblings😂. She's been rocking the outside potty time and energy wise is in between the Licorice and Toffee. She wins the most vocal award when we leave them to nap, until they all settle!
Alternate names... Daisy, Dixie, Sunny
She is kind of a loner but likes to play with her siblings. She is the most laid back pup!
Licorice is a wild child. She is very hyper and loud. She will need to be corrected constantly. It would be best with no little kids in the house.
Tootsie is very sweet and laid back. She has her spurts of energy but will go up to you and crawl in your lap for petting. She loves belly rubs.
Cracker Jack is also a little wild. He loves trying to play with the bigger dogs and is fearless. He will need some correcting as he is growling and barking at other puppies trying to eat “his” food (he is learning that from Butterscotch, but we are trying to work with him).
Toffee is another very sweet and laid back puppy. He enjoys being held and pet and also loves belly rubs.
