2/13 Update from foster: Brodie joined RCBR last Sunday. He had a bit of a stressful start but is doing great now. He loves playing fetch in the house and is learning “release”. Loves car rides. Sleeps like a trooper through the night on a dog bed on the floor in my bedroom. I know he will find the perfect retirement home. ______________________________
Brodie is a very sweet and loving old man ... but still has a bit of spunk! He loves toys and will play fetch for short periods of time. Then a nap is in order. He is potty-trained, does not prefer to be in his crate but can be crated. He will whine about it. Brodie has been fine out of the crate and roaming the house. He wants to be with his people and will gladly follow you from room to room. He doesn't demand attention in any obnoxious way, but revels in it when you give him pets and hugs. Brodie hasn't been with us that long to know all about him yet. He is good with my female boxer and will probably do okay with male dogs after he is neutered and recovers. He did not like the vet office and got growly during his exam. But then, who doesn't?
