My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ms Bertha was rescued from Animal control. She is supper happy and a little hoggy with her food.  Her hair is wire so I’m thinking she may be mixed with a WH pointer.  We marked as no for other dogs because she can be very assertive, especially with other females.  She has been out with very laid back dogs with no problems.

7 yrs old

The standard adoption fee is $200, but it may vary depending on the situation and the animal. This includes vetting such as shots, spaying or neutering, microchipping, deworming, and heartworm testing if the animal is over six months of age.

Please note****  We are a volunteer organization.  Adoption events are held every Saturday 10-2 at our facility located st 2049 Badin Rd.  Most of our animals are in foster homes.  Please contact the foster if you would like to meet one of our rescues.

You may complete an application for approval to start the adoption process at www.stanlycountyhumanesociety.org, under the 'Adoption' tab.
