Ok, I will admit it... being named after a famous actor is pretty cool. However, why a cranky old man?? I am NOT a cranky old man (ok, every once in awhile) but thats not the point!!! I am a super cute older fella with shar pei wrinkles and fur all wrapped in a medium sized shepherd mix?? I am a cool 45# of love and silliness, I take about 5 minutes to get to love you and when I do, you are THE BEST thing since sliced bread!!! (and yes, I remember when they INVENTED sliced bread!!) I have been known to snap when nervous, but I have come so far and I just need a little time and patience. Cause I just so want to be your big goofy friend!!! I have a soft and squishy face to go along with my squishy personality!! I am great with my people and great with other dogs too. I am shy at the very first but am on the fast track to love!! I will love you very quickly, especially if you have great food or treats!!! I am ready for the train to love, HONK HONK!!! Meet me at the station and lets get ready for love and cuddling!!!
PS: I LOVE TO RIDE IN THE CAR!!! IF you are a long haul trucker or drive for a living, I AM IN!!!!

If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.
