Omega is searching for his Alpha. Omega is 3 yrs old neutered, microchipped, utd on shots and heartworm negative. Hes housebroken, crate trained and doesn't tear things up.
He has been with me 7 months now and I truly know this dog and whats best for him.
In rescue we rarely get a back story but my shelter reached out to his owners who surrendered him and they gladly spoke to me.
They bought him as a puppy from a reputable breeder. He was loved and cared for his whole life. The only reason he was surrendered is because they didn't have a fence. He would take off with no recall and the neighbors made many threats.
Omega is extremely vocal and his vocals sound ferocious. He was taught to be vocal and has no idea that it scares some people. Omega has a extremely high prey drive. He loves to chase the squirrels and birds. I've seen strong men struggle to hold this dog back on a leash. So we are absolutely requiring a fenced in yard. No exceptions.
Hes a bull in a China shop. But a well trained bull. He knows sit, lay, shake with both paws.
He actually looks to see who corrects him and who doesn't.
He knows when he gets vocal if he has your number or not.
Omega does not have a mean bone in his body. Intimidating yes. Truly aggressive absolutely not. I take food, toys and treats from him. With all the being said he needs a firm owner with a fenced in yard and no small children. He loves kids too much and doesn't know hes 92 pounds of twisted steel.
With other dogs Omega is very alpha and I would prefer to adopt him as a only dog. However if paired with just the right submissive female I could see it working. His adoption fee is 200 located in Picayune Ms but am willing to adopt out of state for the right person willing to travel and meet him first. Please email Forbulliessake@gmail.com for a application.
