My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Scottie is an estimated 8 month old Black Schnoodle with a light brown area around his nose, mouth and chin hair with also just a few Schnauzer gray-colored hairs mixed in. His coat is more soft like a Poodle's with slightly more curl than a Schnauzer's.

He is neutered, heart worm negative and on preventative, up to date on his vaccinations and ready for a forever family to love him. He's extremely affectionate and wants to be with his family. He blends in with the dogs and cats in his foster home.

For those of you who have been following his "story". We successfully removed his displaced baby fang and are saving it to go with him to his new family. :)

Because he was so terribly matted, his rescuer had to cut the hair down to the skin in places to get the huge clumps off. He'll be a beauty to match his sweet disposition when the sores that were underneath have all healed up and his soft coat grows back in.
Can you see with the eyes of love?

Little Scottie's light on his feet, calm for such a young dog, gentle, attentive, very affectionate, obviously intelligent and trainable. He is housebroken, loves toys and snuggling up and so far has not tried to chew on anything he isn't supposed to. Although he's not sure he's in love with having the crate door shut behind him, he does go back and forth in an open one of his own accord to take naps. He has a higher pitched bark and trill like that of a young dog who hasn't developed his adult voice, yet.

Scottie is extremely thin at 10.2 pounds and 14.5 inches tall. He'll gain at least a pound or maybe two as he enjoys the tender loving care, good food and supplements he'll get now that he's SAFE.

Scottie needs a foster home and we are now accepting applications for his adoption.

We are always thankful and accept donations for the care of our dogs. You may mail them to
Texas Tailwaggers Village Rescue
P. O. Box 2072
