Kya was a homeless, fearful, pregnant cat when she was rescued last year. She gave birth to five healthy kittens in the safety of a foster home, and she was a nurturing, attentive mother. A few months ago, all her kittens were placed in forever homes, but Mamma Kya was not yet ready for adoption. She still needs more socializing, but we are hopeful the right family will provide her with the sense of security she needs to reach her potential and become a much-loved pet.

Although still timid, Kya absolutely loves the luxury of the indoor lifestyle. She recently met another feline foster named Eddie and the two have become smitten kittens. Both cats are shy and will need a loving family that will give them the time, patience and compassion so they can adapt to their new surroundings. They are a darling duo that must be adopted together.
