My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


We adopted Abby 13 months ago. She came into a home that has young children and another puppy (1 year old Golden Retriever) She did very well. We house trained her. She is an indoor/outdoor dog. She wants all the attention and loves to cuddle. Unfortunately, she plays very rough with our other dog to the point where our golden has scabs on her neck from her pulling at neck skin during playtime. I think she will do well in a home without other animals and with older children as she can be treat aggressive. My kids hang on her and lay with her all the time without an issue but if she has a bone, she will growl and snip at my kids. She would love an active person who will take her on walks and adventure.
My family loves her and this is not an easy decision but I think both of my dogs will be happier separated from each other.
We have chickens and the couple times she has gotten out of the fenced yard (kids left the gate open) she did very well. She was curious but never hurt them.
