Meet Adele! She is an approx 1-2 year old, 50 pound black mouth cur mix. She had 9 puppies about 4 weeks ago and has decided she is done being a mom so we put her puppies into foster homes and now she needs a place to relax and recover from all she's been through at her young age. She is so sweet and wonderful!! She was found with an older pittie so we think ok with other dogs but because she is healing we would want a more quiet home vs a home with a playful or a lot of other dogs.

This dedicated Momma dog gave birth in an abandoned fire pit filled with ashes, trash, and broken glass. While it afforded her safety from the plethora of other dogs running wild, we marvel that the newborns didn’t aspirate the ash. Luckily someone alerted us to her desperate situation and we sprang into action. Please reach out fill out a foster application on www.maxxandme.org if so.

Adele will be spayed when appropriate, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccines. Her adoption donation is only $250.

Maxx & Me is an all volunteer, all foster home rescue and do not have a shelter.
