Kahlua is an approximately 10 year old, 48 pound husky mix that came to us from the Citrus County Animal Services with 3 other dogs as part of a cruelty case after their owner died. Dogs were tied outside their whole lives with little food and water. They were found matted, emaciated, and very scared of humans and family said lived entire lives tethered and were not socialized or given any basic vet care. They are all miraculously heartworm negative and are working on gaining weight. They will be spayed and given dentals and anything else they need when have gained more weight. All are updated on their vaccines. She is in a foster home learning to be a cherished family member and indoor dog and loving it! Kahlua is the oldest and most timid so needs a very special person to adopt her and patient household without any kids. She hasn't lived in a home before or had basic training so needs a foster or adopter willing to work with her on being an indoor dog and cherished family member. If you can foster or adopt this sweet girl please fill out an application on www.maxxandme.org.
Kahlua will be spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Adoption donation is only $200.
