My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jax is a small 4 ish year old, black and white curly haired mixed breed dog. We think he is Poodle and Shih Tzu, but we’re not sure.

He is a rather laid back sweet dog. We think he had been pampered in the past but somehow he lost his pamperer and is looking for a new one.

Jax is living with other dogs now, however because he wants all of the attention and because he takes exception to being stepped on, he snaps at them sometimes. And he snaps hard. Therefore, we don’t recommend adopting him to a home with another dog. It wouldn’t be fair to the other dog plus Jax wants to be the only sun and moon for his peeps.

He appears to be healthy. He is definitely not housebroken but we think with supervision he could be. He walks nicely on leash but sometimes just stops walking and needs to be carried. He loves to be carried and held so that part is easy.

He definitely does not like to be alone. He will cry and sometimes even gets an upset stomach because of it. We’re looking for a home with homebody that wants a lap dog.
