This handsome, incredibly sweet boy is a 13 lbs, 2.5 months old mixed breed pup. We do not know Bernie's breed make up, but based on his physical characteristics, personality, energy level, etc he may be Mountain dog mixed with Cattle Dog and/or Catahoula. Considering his current weight and age, he is going to be a larger medium size dog (possibly 50-65lbs). Bernie is a social and friendly pup and a great listener. He understands no and is doing amazing with potty training for his age. Bernie is in a foster home with three dogs and is a great companion to them. He plays with his foster siblings every chance he gets. He loves to snuggle next to them and is always up for a tug of war match. Bernie's manners and energy level for his age make him an excellent fit for a family with children. He likes to be near his people and absolutely hates his crate. His foster mom is crate training in the afternoons and while on errands; he does not sleep in a crate overnight. Bernie will do best with a family that is home more than not and accepting of dogs in the bed. Fenced yard required.
