Meet Sparky!

He arrived to us from Texas and is currently with a foster in Griffith, IN.

Sparky is a fun and energetic pup, he does like to cuddle on the couch. He’s very sweet, he could definitely use a playmate. He would do well with another dog as a sibling or as a solo pet. He’s being fostered with a cat. At first he was afraid of it. He walks very well on a leash.

Sparky is guessed to be around 2 yrs old, 48lbs, up to date on vaccines, rabies. We have his neuter schedule soon and he will get a microchip then.

Adoption Process:

- One of our adoption counselors will reach out to you

- Meet and greet will be set up for the dog

- Adoption fee covers the spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines, rabies, microchip


Day of the Dogs is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. We focus on helping rescues and shelters in southern states. We coordinate 2 - 4 transports a month from Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma to the Illinois and Indiana area. Our entire operation is supported by donations from caring individuals.
