My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Copper, an approximate Boxer/Pit Bull/Lab mix, came into our rescue when her mom was pulled heavily pregnant from a Houston, TX shelter and placed in foster, where she whelped her pups in a home surrounded by a loving family. All this litter has known is normalcy, raised around kids and other dogs, save for the transport to bring the puppies here to Rhode Island ;)

Copper is a beautiful brown pup with plenty of white markings and is a bright, sweetheart of a puppy who also is content to be independent as the situation dictates but always happy to spend time with you. Energetic, she belongs with an active family and will benefit from socialization as she can be under confident at times, but is coming along in her training very well, getting used to the crate, and is coming along on her housebreaking as well. Bright and picking up on things readily, she will be a nice puppy to raise. Puppies aspire to the guidance you give them....with early training and plenty of socialization, she has excellent candidacy as a family pet.

Copper is available to approved applicants to meet and reserve, but is to be held until later in the month for her spay date (4/21), after which she will be able go to her forever home. The first step is an application, and those are available via contacting Lucy at maramuser@gmail.com. Adoptions to CT, NH and RI only; we unfortunately cannot adopt to Massachusetts residents. Copper's adoption fee is $450.
