My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Millie! I am a 5 year old, female, lab mix weighing in at about 60 pounds! I am here because the wonderful people at The Cantu Foundation found and saved me from an overcrowded shelter in Mexico! I had a rough start to life that was full of neglect and I was chained up outside. I am house trained and have excellent leash manners and I’m ready to come home with you. I just know we can be best friends!

Inside the home I am the sweetest, most loving dog ever! Every day I just want to cuddle, play for a bit, and then nap. I love to sleep in the sun and I’m pretty low energy but love my walks and playtime!

I really could thrive in any loving home, with or without other dogs. I love to lay in the sun and spend a lot of time in the yard, but I would be fine without a yard as long as I get walks and playtime. I haven’t been tested with kids but my foster mom says I’m the sweetest dog ever and I know I would love kids. I do well by myself at home and don't need a crate at all. Don’t even bother buying one! I’ve never chewed anything that I wasn’t supposed to. I am basically just the sweetest pup and I wag my tail everytime I see you and everytime you say my name. I make friends everywhere we go. I love walks and meeting other dogs and humans alike. I do snore a bit, but my foster mom says that even that is cute!

My adoption fee is $250 and that includes spaying/neutering and vetting care. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here http://www.thecantufoundation.org/adopt.html

Millie is currently undergoing treatments for her kidneys and improving everyday. She will most likely need medication for the rest of her life.
