Alley is a very sweet cat. She is around 8 years old. She is very cuddly, playful when played with, and likes to be pet. We are looking to rehome her because as we have added more kids to our family, she has become increasingly stressed by them. We have a 5 year old, 2 year old, and another baby on the way. While they try to be gentle with her, she just cannot handle their energy. A quieter, calmer environment would be ideal for her. I don't think it is fair to her to keep her in an environment that keeps her on edge. We are also about to move to another state about an hour away, and I don't think she can handle the move. She was declawed before we took her in (7 years ago). She uses the litterbox with no problems. I don't know how she would be around other cats or dogs. I think she would be fine with older children. We are sad to have to give her up, but we want her to have a home where she can feel safe and thrive.
