My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kapok! Kapok is a gorgeous 9 month old, 18 pound Tibetan Spaniel / Sheltie mix.

He gets along very well with other dogs of all sizes. Please note he can be a bit shy with humans. We would love to see him in a home with another confident pup!

He is a bit submissive and very sweet! He is gaining more confidence every day and becoming more playful, and we have no doubt he will continue to do so in the right home!

If interested in Kapok, please complete and application which can be found on our website!

PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently in Puerto Rico. Once an adopter is fully approved, transport will be arranged to New York.

In addition, if you are applying for this dog or any of our pups, you must be open to dog psychology/behavior (Cesar Millan) and fulfilling the needs of the dog.

We strive for our dogs to be adopted into the right home. The best fit for the dog is our priority.

We ask that you please make sure if interested in a puppy or high energy breed that you are ready for this time consuming/daily endeavor and have patience as this is a long term commitment (could be 15+ years). Please consider your future lifestyle after COVID.

Please make sure you are ready to properly exercise and give a dog all it needs for fulfillment. Your ongoing time and day-to-day commitment is the most important thing in caring for a dog.

In addition we cannot guarantee breed of any dog or expected adult size of a puppy. Thank you for understanding.
