Dottie Mae was our first fur baby. My, at the time, fiance (now husband) and I went to the shelter just for fun and left with the adoption papers for a sweet black and white kitten. We always joke that we got a cat before we closed on our house. Dottie, or Big Mama as we like to call her, was the center of our world. She was one of the most spoiled cats ever! We felt that she was lonely and started fostering kittens to see how she would do with other cats. She wasn't too sure at first, but then lived up to her nickname as Big Mama. She would show the kittens how to play with toys, use the stairs, and even get into some trouble. She loves to be around people and other cats; she has never met a stranger. Dottie loves to jump into your lap or next to you on the couch and get snuggles while she naps. She tolerates being brushed and getting her nails trimmed. She is extremely friendly and would most likely do well in a home as a single cat or in a home with other cats to play with.
