My story

Meet Apple Juice!
He is listed as a terrier/schnauzer mix and weighs about 18 pounds. He is estimated to be 5 years old and still has a lot of life to live!

He came to us from Oklahoma after being an owner surrender there. Since coming in to rescue he has been treated for heartworm, neutered, given a dental, had a BB removed from his knee, micro-chipped and UTD in all shots and preventatives.

Apple Juice is like no other dog His foster mama has ever met!!

He is a growly, energetic, bouncy, happy, playful, love bug who craves attention, neck and ear rubs and love! He has Lots and lots of love to give by being with you, near you, on your lap, or curled up next to you. He likes to give kisses but isn’t comfortable getting kisses.

He’s a great sleeper, walker, eater, treat taker, car rider, toy flipper, tail chaser who is EXTREMELY QUIRKY. (Aren’t we all? 🙂)

Juice would do best in a house with kids over 15 due to his toy possessiveness and growliness; adults that will remind him who is in charge while providing tons of love; submissive/non-reactive dogs would be great for Juice as he likes being in part of a pack.

We do not know how he would interact with cats.
