My story

***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the adoption application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org***

Oh Hubert you soft, sweet, gentle guy. Hubert is reserved and unsure of life but he knows when he has a cat person in his presence and is more than willing to lay his head in their safe and gentle hand for a few pets and some ear scratches.  Hubert had a whole family here at the shelter at one point but one by one the more outgoing siblings all found their homes.  Hubert may not be the kind of guy to rush  you at the door or climb all over you when you visit but don't be fooled by his gentle nature, he is very appreciative of the love and attention offered to him and more than happy to reciprocate that kindness.  If you are a gentle calm human looking for a complimentary calm and gentle cat, Hubert may be the perfect friend.   Hubert is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and micro chipped. As always our cat/kitten adoption fees are free will to approved applicants.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
