My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Iodine is a beauty! An approximate Catahoula/Pit Bull mix, he is a striking brown with tons of chrome and a white blaze that climbs a path straight between his cute ears, with a beautiful white tipped tail on the other end, lol, with piercing blue eyes to match.

Iodine came into our rescue when his mom was pulled heavily pregnant from a Houston, TX shelter and placed in foster, where she whelped her pups in a home surrounded by a loving family. All this litter has known is normalcy, raised around kids and other dogs, save for the transport to bring the puppies here to Rhode Island ;)

Iodine is a very sweet and social boy who would love an active family. He definitely has some energy....not hyper, but energetic and full of puppy enthusiasm....and would be a great match for families who love the outdoors. He would match very well as a child's pet, as he loves to chase the ball and has a very good nature overall. Puppies with energy need early training, and Iodine as an individual will benefit from lots of socialization, as he can be unsure at times and has a sensitive streak, but overall is an incredibly happy boy. Puppies are all promise and potential, and they will amount to the sum total of the efforts from the people who raise them.
