My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I adopted Shadow in the summer of 2019 from a shelter, when she was estimated to be about a year old. She was spayed and chipped and had lots of energy to play. She's been a great house dog, my wife and I had a baby about a year ago and Shadow has been very sweet with our baby girl. Unfortunately we will be moving out of state and are having a hard time accommodating a breed of her size (about 45-50 lbs). We won't be moving until late this summer but we want to find her a good home and a nice family to take care of her. She is startled by loud noises like construction work and fireworks, she can also exhibit signs of separation anxiety and chew things if she's scared and alone. She is also protective of her family, and will bark at strangers who approach or loud noises outside. She also lives with a smaller dog (15 lbs) and cat, and they all play together without fighting so she will get along with other pets.
