My story

Are you looking for a bouncy boy? Then Willie is your man! Willie LOVES kids. He sees kiddos as an equal partner since they share the same energy! His little face lights up when little human comes into view, and he loves bouncing around the backyard with them, playing games such as tag and hide 'n go seek. Willie would do best in an active family with a nice fenced back yard where he can fly around chasing balls or squirrels or anything that moves. He's very smart and eager to learn, so he'd be a great candidate for agility or fly-ball. He'd prefer a dog friend that is very mellow. Willie can be a smidge dominate so his canine companion would need to allow him assertive attitude to shine. Or better yet, Willie would love to be your one and only so he gets all the love and attention himself! Willie will bounce into your heart and stay there forever! Connect with OHAR to learn more! Adoption Process: After your application is approved, a home visit is schedule. We will bring the pet to you and help with introductions to your current pet(s). You will then have a week with the pet to ensure they are the right fit for your home. At the end of the week, you finalize the adoption and the pet is officially part of your family! More about this rescue

Jim & Bettye Baker have been rescuing dogs and cats for many years and finally achieved 501(c)3 status. We bought 9 acres and built a building for this purpose and began a partnership with another local rescue that has storefront space donated to them in North Dallas. We pull dogs and cats from local city shelters after their adoption time has expired, get them vetted and chipped and offer them for adoption every weekend. PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITE WWW.OHAR.ORG and see all our adoptable dogs and cats.
