Mini-schnoodle = maximum sweet + maximum smart + maximum cute = Devin. So there you have it -- mathematical proof that Devin is the perfect dog. :)
As long as I live, I will never understand how someone could abandon this little guy, but they did. He came into the shelter all dirty and matted, wearing a ridiculous green hoodie that was about 10 sizes too big. Underneath the mess we found a beautiful little sweetheart who was scared and starving for both food and affection. But all that has changed now. We absolutely love him and we know you will too!
Devin is about 1-2 years old and weighs 11 lbs (but he's thin and should probably weigh about 15). Devin has super-soft, curly, non-shedding poodle hair, in beautiful shades of silver and gray with tan schnauzer markings. He was very matted when he came into the shelter so he got the usual shelter shave-down (we'll just call it his "puppy" cut). But he's going to be the most handsome fluff on the block as soon as his hair grows back!
Devin was obviously neglected in the past, but in spite of that his sweet spirit prevails -- he is affectionate, playful, quiet and well-behaved. He is also very smart (that's the poodle in him!). He will alert you to passersby, but he's not a barky dog.
Devin is friendly and loving, and likes everyone (both 2-legged and 4-legged). He plays and gets along great with other dogs. He will chase cats (he wouldn't hurt them; he just wants to play with them!), but he backs down when he realizes they're not interested. He loves soft squeeky toys and will toss them in the air and then pounce on them. It's so cute. But his main focus is people. If he can just hang out with you, no matter what you're doing, he's happy. He rides well in the car, and walks great on a leash.
Devin is a delight. He will make a wonderful companion and family member.
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vet checked, current on vaccinations, microchipped, groomed, de-wormed, de-flea'd, and come with a collar, leash, ID tag, and puppy kisses from the lucky dog you take home!
