Cowboy is a senior pit bull mix. He was turned in to the kill-shelter as an owner surrender due to the health of the owner. He lived with a Pomeranian & Australian Shepherd in his previous home (they were rehomed privately). The owner only had him for two months & had gotten him from someone else who had him for 8 years but needed to rehome him due to lack of time. When we heard his story we knew right away that we had to help him. He's been thrown around enough times, and so we welcomed him into the AMA family. As soon as you meet him, he will immediately put his head on your lap to solicit attention. All Cowboy wants is some love! And he most definitely deserves it! Cowboy is great with dogs and people. Even though he loves all types of food, Cowboy has a food allergy to chicken.
