Maxy is a 4 year old, pure-bred Yorkshire Terrier. He loves adults & children. He's very social & even loves to go visit with the neighbors. He's a great watchdog & will let a stranger know that he's protecting his home! Maxy LOVES to cuddle, give kisses & play with toys. Just say "Toss the toy, Maxy" & off he goes. He is food aggressive so if you have another dog(s), he should be fed in his crate. He would be happy as an only dog or with dogs close to his age. He doesn't like all the activity & noise that come with puppies. Maxy is potty trained to go outside. Since there's another male dog in his foster home & he's new here, we're keeping a belly band on him when he's inside. He sleeps in his crate with a doggie bed & doesn't like to be left alone for long periods of time. He definitely likes to be on a schedule. He's an early riser & likes to eat & go out to potty on time. He would love to get all the attention from a Senior (either single or couple) or a stay at home/work at home family. He needs to lose a few pounds but he is now going for daily walks, which he loves! Currently, he weighs about 9 lbs. He needs to stay on dehydrated raw food, such as Sojos. It's all natural, easy, & he loves it! He also loves to chew on bully sticks. Maxy will not be adopted to a home with children under the age of 8 years old. He's neutered, current on his vaccines, & has been dewormed & microchipped. He's also recently had a dental. Maxy's adoption donation is $350.
