Kirk and Spock were rescued off the street by a good Samaritan and brought to our sanctuary. They spent a couple of weeks being cared for by Kitten Rescue staff and are now in a foster home.

These brothers are very playful, curious, and loving towards each other. They enjoy napping together and are often found cuddling and grooming each other. They like to run around and play with their toys. Like most teenage boys, they can be trouble makers at times, but overall they are good cats. Kirk is very vocal and likes to leap to high places. He likes being pet and likes to sit close to you. Spock is more cuddly than Kirk. He will sniff your face and look for your hand until he is pet. He also likes to sit close to you. Kirk and Spock are very bonded and need to be adopted together.

We ONLY adopt animals to homes in the greater Los Angeles area.
Our cat adoption questionnaire https://kittenrescue.org/adopt/cat-adoption-form/ is first step of our adoption process, which also includes a home visit, the signing of an adoption contract, and payment of our adoption fee.
Adoption Fees
$120 for a kitten or cat up to 2 years old, or $200 if you adopt a pair.
Cats 2 to 10 years old have a fee reduction of 50%
We will waive the adoption fee for any cat over 10 years old.
Our dog adoption fee is $200.

While appointments to visit the Kitten Adoption Center are encouraged, walk-ins are always welcome! Make sure you complete the Cat Adoption Questionnaire here online prior to visiting us. To schedule an appointment please email adoptions@kittenrescue.org. If you do come by without an appointment, wait times to get in to the Adoption Center may vary. More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 1,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
