LOVES PEOPLE ESPECIALLY CHILDREN

It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the conclusion that we cannot provide the best care for our beloved Lio. Born August 28, 2011 (1 year old), This neutered male, yellow English Labrador Retriever will bring joy to your family. He is a happy, gentle, 70 lb, boy who is well mannered and willing to please. Lio loves people, especially children, and gets along well with other dogs. He has had minimal exposure to cats, but his willingness to please and gentle nature lends him to be easily taught new things. He loves food and eats quickly. Therefore, we have implemented strategies, such as flipping the bowl upside down or using a big stainless steel ball in the bowl, to slow him down. He is happy to have someone (even small children) hand feed him or sit down and pet him while he eats. Each morning, he joyfully brings his bone or other toys around to show each member of the family as part of his wake-up greetings. Lio is perfect for anyone who loves throwing a ball, taking walks and snuggling.

Unfortunately, Lio faces a possible ectopic ureter (he leaks pee), which means inevitable surgery. Currently, we are treating him prophylactically with Proin, to minimize leakage, and low dose antibiotics, to prevent infection. We can provide documentation of his medical history, veterinary contact numbers, and suggested course of action.
