Hunter came to us via animal control. He is about 3 years old and weighs in at about 55 pounds. The owner surrendered him with the info that he is a Doberman/hound, loves kids, is housebroken, doesn't chase cattle and has never bitten a person. It seems that as a puppy he survived parvo (a deadly canine disease). We tested him for heart-worm and tick born disease and took care of his medical needs. Now he is healthy and happy. All he needs is a loving home. At Almost Home he is so sweet and happy and is good when we crate him. However, this lovable guy shouldn't have to be crated...he should be chasing butterflies and playing ball with some kids.
