We are Avery and Darla. Before coming to PAAW rescue we were living behind a fire station. The firemen were really nice to us and fed us. They knew this should not be the life for us and called someone from PAAW to come get us. They rescued us and my other kids. I was the very last one to go into the trap. I just wanted to make sure my kids were safe first. The rescue workers were not sure if any of us would be friendly. But we were used to seeing the firemen everyday.

Well it didn't take long for Darla and I to let our rescuer know we were friendly. We do like being pet and we love to play, especially at night. We don't care for being picked up and we are not lap cats. Besides that we are super easy keepers.

We use the litter box and we aren't picky on our food, however we do love wet food now. Since we are still a bit shy we would need time to adjust to our new place. A private room with a view would help us to adjust to your home. We are in a foster home now and we love it, but we stay in one room.

We don't have to be adopted together but it would be nice to have a familiar face around. We do get along with some other cats if they don't bug us too much. We've seen dogs before but have never really interacted with them. Please consider letting us be a part of your family.

The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations, FELUK/FIV combo test, spay/neuter, and microchip!

To apply to adopt one of our pets, please complete our online adoption evaluation form. We will respond to your inquiry promptly. Our adoption fees for cats includes Feluk/FIV combo test, current vaccines, spay/neuter & microchip. Our adoption fees for dogs includes heartworm test, current vaccines, spay/neuter & microchip. Spay/neuter deposit fees apply on any animals too young to be altered at the time of adoption, and the deposit is returned upon proof of spay/neuter.
We adopt to homes within a 2 hour driving range of MetroDetroit.
