HOURS OF OPERATION: Visits and adoptions are conducted by appointment. Living Free Animal Sanctuary is located in Mountain Center, CA, right off Highway 74 in the San Jacinto Mountains. We're 10 minutes from Idyllwild, 45 minutes from the Desert Cities, 2 hours from San Diego and 2.5 hours from Los Angeles. Serving Riverside County and Southern California.

We are a nonprofit animal sanctuary saving dogs and cats whose time is up at local kill shelters. We are a 501(c)(3) organization and have been rescuing animals since 1980.
