Gianna is so excited to meet you! Her way of talking might sound a little intimidating at first, but it's just her way of saying hi to you! She'll be your velcro pup who cuddles and sits with you on the sofa once she knows you. She's very trainable and would benefit from a committed owner to teach her all the tricks and build that bond. She'd prefer to be the only dog, but there are some doggie exceptions if everyone vibes with her. Interested in meeting this brilliant gal? Ask a TXHH staff person! Gianna has been in a wonderful foster home for several months and they would be happy to speak with you too!

Meet and fall in love with your future four-legged family member at one of our adoption centers or offsite events. The adoption process takes at least 90 minutes.

Our adoption fees are as follows:
Adult Dogs $150 (1+ years old & over 30 lbs)
Adult Dogs $225 (1+ years old & under 30 lbs)
Puppies $275 (under 1 year)
Adult Cats $85 (1 year and older)
Kittens $135 (under 1 year)

All of our animals receive:
Spaying or Neutering
Current Vaccinations and/or Rabies Vaccination Voucher
Microchip
Heartworm Screening for Dogs
Leukemia Test for Cats
30 days of Free Pet Health Insurance from 24PetWatch

Texas Humane Heroes (EIN 74-2069592) is a no kill, private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Established in 1979, we support communities throughout the entire state of Texas.
We pull dogs and cats into our program from overcrowded shelters that are often forced to euthanize. In 2020, Texas Humane Heroes rescued 4,378 dogs and cats from 89 shelters across the state of Texas. We have Adoption Centers in Leander and Killeen, Texas.
