My story

Meet Roxie. Roxie has been in our program for 783 days, coming to us from a shelter in rural LA. Her heartworms were so bad, that she had to be immediately hospitalized for CAVAL surgery. After a challenging recovery from that, she had to overcome some ACL issues. It was a very long 8 months for her. Through it all, she has been nothing but an absolute angel. She has been in a couple of foster homes and has gotten perfect reviews. Roxie only has 2 things going against her: 1. she is a pit mix. 2. she prefers to be the only furry being in a home. She is great on walks, is quite the couch potato, loves belly rubs, prefers to lay on her back in the sunshine, has never met a stranger, is crate trained, microchipped, up to date on shots, heart worm negative and looks great in a red bandana. If you have a couch and no other pets, please consider fostering or adopting this wonderful girl. She doesn't even require long walks in the heat! www.zeusrescues.org. Thanks! Michelle
