My story

Hi, my name is Miki and I'm a super-loving and sweet 10 yr young big girl. My former mom and dad were in their '90's and could no longer care for me as they had to go into a senior home and I wasn't able to go along. I'm a real cuddlebug and love to play. I'm one of those cats that goes with the flow, but since I've only known a quiet home I probably should not tray a home that has dogs or small children only because I've never seen those before. You can call my foster mom or fill out an application online at Fat Kitty City. I would love a home for the Holidays!!

More about this rescue

Mission Statement Fat Kitty City Humane Society is a non-profit 501(c)3 Corporation, dedicated to ending needless animal suffering, through spaying, neutering, socializing, adopting and other aggressive approaches. Our objectives are: Provide a "no-kill" sanctuary for unwanted, Feline AIDS positive or negative, abused, neglected, feral, tame, stray or lost pets. When possible, each pet will be rehabilitated, socialized and adopted (with a microchip) to a good family. Those pets that cannot be rehabilitated, will live out their lives in our sanctuary, in dignity. They will receive love, housing, food and veterinary care. To spay or neuter every pet we receive, to reduce unnecessary suffering. Provide reasonable space for each pet to live out a high quality of life (not to live out their lives in small cages with barely enough room to move around). Provide relief from the weather by providing a heated shelter during cold weather, etc. Provide stimulation. A yard with trees to climb, lawn and dirt to play in and toys to enjoy.
