I'm Lou Anne, and as one of the shelter's longest residents, I'm slowly giving up hope of being adopted. I have waited at the SPCA for my special day to come for a very long time, and no matter how much effort I put into being seen for the beautiful girl that I am, I'm passed by over and over again.
I know that every single kitty here is just as deserving of a home as I am, but I feel sad that I can't seem to stand out like my more extroverted peers. You see, I absolutely love people but I show my affection in a soft, gentle way. I enjoy talking but listening is even more important to me. And I deeply long to make a friend who I can share my heart with and be there for. But waiting here day after day makes me believe that I might be without a forever friend for years to come.
Could you be the one to change that by giving me the precious, priceless, and unexpected gift of adoption? Being welcomed into your heart and home would be the single greatest day of my life.
