BIO: Greetings! My name's Dorothy, and I'm a beautiful American Staffordshire Terrier who is available for adoption through Fetching Tails Foundation. In general, I'm pretty laid back and like to keep my energy levels low. I'm a big cuddler and tend to go with the flow, but I do get excited and silly when making first introductions with new friends. It takes me a few minutes to chill, but I will eventually get there. With that said, I get along very well with every human that I meet, including kiddos of all ages. I would do best as your only pet (no other dogs or cats, please!) because I love snuggling and spending time with my people!
I've accomplished so much already - including crate and potty training - and I contentedly sleep in my crate when left alone for anywhere between 3-8 hours at a time. Being the strong girl that I am, I could use some more practice with my leash manners. I'm incredibly smart, so it's nothing a little training and patience couldn't help! Someone once said that there's no place like home, and I cannot wait to experience that feeling for myself. If I had a pair of ruby slippers, I'd click my paws together right now and wish to find my forever home today!
Cheers, Dorothy
If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
