My story

Are you looking for a sweet and playful companion? This petite kitty might be your new best friend! Miriam is very curious and loves to watch the goings-on of her foster home. She is a pro at flying through the air to catch the feather toy. When Miriam isn't playing, she enjoys settling down next to you or at your feet. She likes to sit nearby with a paw or two touching you. Miriam is a gentle kitty but she does pretend/play bite and scratch. She doesn't actually make contact or hurt you, but she may not be the best match for a home with children due to this playful behavior!

More about this rescue

Kitties & Pitties is committed to saving the lives of animals, with an emphasis on cats and pit bulls. The organization strives to meet this goal by providing a network of loving foster homes to animals in need. While in foster care, the animals are provided with a holistic diet, socialization, training, and enrichment, promoting both health and happiness.

Kitties & Pitties works closely with local veterinarians to make sure all cats and pit bulls in our program receive vaccinations, spay/neuter, and other necessary medical treatment. The animals are ultimately made available for adoption.

In an effort to reduce the population of feral cats and kittens, Kitties & Pitties also offers Trap, Neuter, and Release (TNR) services. We also provide support to feral colony caregivers by offering outdoor shelters and cat food.
