My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ava was hit by a car and then abandoned at the vet's office by her owner. We took her in from there and cared for her as she lost her leg in the accident. However, you would never know by how she moves and walks. She is still very quick and loves long walks. Ava will take time to get to know you. She is still unsure of strangers. She will need someone to be patient with her and give her a second chance, we believe she still feels abandoned. She does need to be an only dog though. She was born in January of 2014 and abandoned in 2017 and has been with us ever since.

Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heartworm preventative, heartworm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided.

Long-timers: $100
Senior Dogs: $150
Adult Dogs: $300

We are a 501c organization that saves pets from high kill shelters, off the streets and also accept pets as owner surrenders so they do not have to step a foot in the shelters. We believe all animals deserve a good life and we strive to give them one! We give them any medical attention they may need, including spay/neuters, a microchip and vaccinations and find them a forever home.
