Spud is an 8 year old male Terrier mix available to foster and/or adopt. Senior Spud is one of AWL's longest residents looking for a home to finally call his own! Spud entered AWL on 9/9/2019 (4 years, 7 months) and has been patiently waiting his turn to find his special someone! Spud is a handsome guy that enjoys the finer things in life, like short walks with his SOS, nice comfy beds, and toys! Give Spud a toy and he'll be occupied for hours. Give Spud love and he's set for life In Spud's glory days he won the prestigious award of "Ultimate Fence Jumper." No yard, no problem! Spud loves taking leashed walks. We recommend leashed walks and endless inside loving/snuggles with Spud. Spud is all sorts of special and a staff favorite! Spud a big time lap lover! The first thing we require the Adopters to do is fill out one of our applications. Once they get that turned into us we call landlords, vets, and references and check to make sure their animals have all been up to date and make sure their landlords( if they have one ) are okay with them bringing home a new animal. We also call the references to make sure they are good animal owners. We will also look at whether or not you have a fenced in yard and how big your yard is ( if adopting a dog). We want to make sure we have the best fit home for the animals. All of our animals have their boosters (adult or puppy). Some are fixed and some are not. We do have a spay/neuter trailer that comes to the shelter at least once a month that spay and neuters our animals.
