My story

Jack is looking for a forever family.

He's a big, happy, energetic boy and will fit well with an equally active person. He is a 3 year old large (95lbs) Labrador mix breed dog who is crazy playful. Although he is as happy, friendly pup he is big and doesn't know his own strength. He can be mouthy and grab onto you when playing and a handful to walk or in the house if he gets overstimulated.

We are looking for an active but calm family that will be dedicated to helping him control his energy and excitement while continuing his training. His new family should be prepared to spend time outdoors and going for walks to help manage his energy levels. There should be no children in the home or visiting regularly and also no other pets, at least initially. And he needs a home with a fully fenced yard so he can get plenty of exercise in addition to his regular walks.
We believe Jack would be well matched with someone who has previous experience with large dogs and is committed to continue working on his obedience training.

We are looking to match Jack with a family that meets the following criteria:
-Someone that is willing to take him on walks several times a day
-Someone with experience with large breed dogs and committed to continuing his training
-A fully fenced yard of his own
-A home where he is the only pet
-A home with no children because he is strong and mouthy

He is neutered, microchipped and up to date with his core vaccinations.

If you're interested in adopting him please fill in our online adoption application.

He is currently offsite in the Peterborough area so the successful applicant will have to be willing to travel to meet him once pre-approved for adoption. Potential adopters should expect to visit him a few times and we will provide training support to enable knowledge transfer with his current trainer before taking him home.
