PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE YOU RESPOND.
RYU and his 2 siblings (CHUN LI and KEN) were found at a mechanic shop and turned in to the shelter. We are not sure if they are truly siblings, but they were all together at the shelter when we rescued them. They went to our foster. RYU is now ready for his "FUREVER" home. FYI: We named them after the STREET FIGHTERS video game.
RYU is now with a foster home and is such a love bug! He likes toys, the cat tree and snacks! He loves sleeping in his hammock when he came back to the rescue. You can pick him up but he prefers to run around. RYU loves to play with other cats. He really loves other cats!! He has learned to come and ask for pets. He love treats, especially CHURU! RYU is such a great cat!
RYU is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / BOMBAY MIX. He is over 2 years old. He is good with cats and non-reactive to with dogs. He has never been around children.
RYU is currently at a foster home in San Jacinto, California.
OCTOBER 2022: With all the needed social distancing, we are still doing adoptions. VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.
Volunteers are usually at Petsmart between 9 - 10 am to 12 pm - 1 pm. Please note that it is totally up to the volunteers if they are comfortable with allowing you in the cattery (COVID).
Steps 1-5 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT)
2. Fill Out Online Form
3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
7. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

Official Meet and Greets will take place at the Petsmart location where the cat/kitten is currently located at.
The cats/kittens at a foster/rescue home, we will do meet and greets at any of the 3 Petsmart locations listed below.
If necessary, the crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, once the adoption has been finalized. So gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.
Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.
We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out be patient.

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
