Rufas would do best in a home with no other dogs and older children. Rufas is a very sweet boy who adores attention. He loves to get a but scratch from time to time! Rufas is very food motivated. He is potty trained and leash trained. He is a very happy and playful boy. He loves to run around the play yard and get the zoomies! Additional adoption info

The adoption application is located on our website. Home visits will be made and vet references must be provided. There is an adoption fee on all animals that helps to offset the cost of veterinary care and spay/neuter of the animal.

To view the dogs, please fill out an application and we will schedule a time that works for you!

Our shelter is located at 1860 Old Airport Road in New Bern, NC. We are open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12-6pm to view cats.

Kitten adoption events are held most Saturdays at PetSmart (Wal-Mart shopping center) in New Bern from 11am - 2pm.
