My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rhea (pink collar) is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so she is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home.

Rhea and her siblings were born under our care. They have known nothing but love and kindness. Their mother Pearl was surrendered by her owner, who allowed Pearl to get pregnant, waited too long before she tried to get her fixed, and then wanted to get rid of her before she had the puppies. The puppies are now 3 months old and ready for adoption. Pearl is a terrier mix and the father(s) are unknown, American Staffordshire Terrier may be in there somewhere. All of the puppies are happy, healthy, friendly, and playful.

Rhea is one of only two females in the litter and she is small, weighing 12 pounds. We think she will grow up to be a medium-sized dog around 45 pounds like her mother. Rhea is a very sweet, gentle, and adventurous little girl. She escaped from her enclosure and ended up in the house before we realized she had done so. Rhea loves to snuggle and give kisses. She is still a puppy that must be trained and additional socialization is very important. Rhea must be in the house as a loved member of the family. She must be walked on a leash and would like a secure, fenced yard to run and play.

Rhea is healthy. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and has been started on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Rhea has a $500.00 adoption fee that includes ground transport via Mightly Mutt Shipping for pickup in White River Junction VT. She is being fostered in Texas and will not be sent north until after she is adopted.
