My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Makena is a very sweet and loving kitty who would love to sit with you and cuddle all day. She currently hides in our basement bc she’s afraid of our dogs, even though they don’t pay much attention, so she would be better off in a home without dogs. She’s very mild mannered, smart and gets along with all the other cats we’ve had, but would be fine as an only kitty too.
She’d probably be ok with kids as long as they’re not rough with her - she’s very timid, but quickly comes out of her shell when someone offers to pet or brush her. She purrs so hard that she chirps! :) <3
She has a hard time with grooming and cleaning her rear end so she needs someone who will brush her regularly (she loves it!), clean up her backside, and play with her so she can lose weight. She appreciates the help cleaning up- can be done w/wipes or in a sink or tub.
We are moving to Hawaii and It pains me that we can’t take her. She really deserves a better home that can give her the attention she craves.
