Introducing the meatiest of all the meatballs...the incomparable Esther also lovingly known as Este!
5 year old 49lb Esther is originally from Galveston, TX where she showed up with pretty rough skin. Still we had a feeling there was something special about this little meatball and once we met her in person and saw her amazing personality we knew we were right!
Este absolutely adores people and is a wonderful breed ambassador. She loves being on the receiving end of belly rubs and enjoys attention from anyone that will give it to her. When she went to our vet the staff let her wonder around the back office and she went from one person to the other getting love. For this reason we are looking for a family for her where at least one person is home.
That is not to say Esther is too much of a velcro dog she's crate trained and enjoys plenty of cozy naptime through out the day. She's a great apartment dog candidate since she doesn't need much exercise. She knows how to sit when asked and is very food motivated.
Esther is both dog and cat friendly and has been in foster with both.
Her foster mom shares that when she is happy she dramatically flops on her back and flails around like a bug. Thanks to the care of her foster family her fur has mostly grown back in and her skin is looking a lot better.
