My story

Thelma (about 10 years old) and Bobo (6 years old) have lived a life of neglect and are looking for a forever home that will make up for that in their golden years. Thelma was used for breeding, they were kept outside at all times and neither one of them received any vet care. They were unaltered, heartworm positive, and their skin/coat was horrible.

They have now been spayed/neutered, received their vaccines, have been treated for heartworm, and their skin/coat is slowly getting better after receiving flea and tick prevention and getting proper nutrition.

They are very sweet and loving and great with other dogs. They are in Oklahoma but can only be adopted in Oregon or Idaho from one of our bi-weekly transports.

Their adoption fee is $300 for both which doesn't cover much given that transport is $200 per dog and their heartworm treatment was $450 each.

They are the most deserving and loving dogs.

More about this rescue

Oklahoma Licensed Rescue Number 95 Oklahoma is a bad place for animals. It's the only state that saw an increase in shelter euthanasia rates in 2019. 2020 probably didn't look any different. Strays everywhere, people dumping dogs in the country to fend for themselves, litters of puppies and kittens because people are too cheap or too lazy to fix their pets. We help these poor souls and find them loving homes in northern states.
