My story

Handsome LIAM came to us in bad shape. He had cuts all over him and his tail was mangled and had to be amputated. Needless to say, LIAM had a rough start, so how can we blame him in how he responds to strangers? And even though we love him, it is clear being in a kennel is not the best place for LIAM to thrive. What he needs is a dedicated, kind, committed person who will give him the time and consistent loving care that will allow LIAM to trust people. He has his friends, both people and dogs, but we would love to see him go home with the right person who can teach him that life is good.

LIAM is 60 lbs.

Why adoption is a great option

Liam, a Beacon Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog for sale in Beacon, or seeking a Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Beacon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Beacon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Beacon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog breeders who help with Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Beacon paves the way for another one to be saved.
